Before our Burger Baron sign went up in 1992, our building was a Tastee Freez. It dates to the early 1960s, and we’re proud to carry on a long tradition of burgers, fries and milkshakes on this corner of Kelowna.
Our favourite part of that history is you. Some of you first came through our doors as children. We’ve welcomed families across generations, heard your memories and shared in the routines that make a place feel familiar. Thank you for making us part of yours.
When Karrin Morris took over, we began a new chapter with renovations and a renewed focus on our community. We’ve kept the things our regulars love: our retro diner, a familiar booth, a convenient drive-through and a warm welcome at the counter.
In 2020, we welcomed Dreamscape, the mural by artist Priscilla Yu, onto our walls. You’ll see its bright colours before you walk through our doors. Inside, we’re still serving the burgers, crinkle-cut fries and shakes you come back for.
